NFC Foundation congratulates 2021 High School Seniors Scholarship recipients
MADISON, FL (June 1, 2021) – The North Florida College Foundation is proud to congratulate 55 NFC High School Seniors Scholarship awardees for 2021. "To our NFC Foundation scholarship recipients, congratulations and welcome to the NFC family," said Judy Lundell, NFC Resource Development Director. "We look forward to seeing you in August.”
NFC Foundation 2021 High School Seniors Scholarship Recipients
- Blake Adams, a senior at Lafayette High School, received a $1,100 Lafayette Penny Foundation Scholarship.
- Rachel Armstrong, a senior at Hamilton County High School, received an NFC Presidential Scholarship ($750 per term; 4 terms).
- Landri Aust, a senior at Madison County High School, received a $1,000 Alice C. Williams Scholarship Endowment, a $500 Madison Lion's Club Scholarship and a $700 Tri-County Electric Scholarship.
- Toni Barkman, a senior at Taylor County High School, received a full two-year Taylor County Operation Outreach Scholarship.
- Kylee Boone, a senior at Suwannee High School, received a $500 Academic Improvement Trust Fund Scholarship and a $250 First Federal Scholarship.
- Landen Brock, a senior at Lafayette High School, received a $1,000 Maultsby Family Scholarship.
- Jasmine Bryan, a senior at Madison County High School, received a $500 Madison County Community Bank Scholarship and a $500 Rodney Stalvey Scholarship.
- Madison Buchanan, a senior at Lafayette High School, received a $1,100 Lafayette Penny Foundation Scholarship.
- Molly Buchanan, a senior at James Madison Preparatory High School, received at $2,000 Morris & Judy Steen Scholarship, a $700 Tri-County Electric Scholarship, a $500 Madison Kiwanis Club Scholarship, and an NFC Presidential Scholarship ($750 per term; 4 terms).
- Madison Buzbee, a senior at Taylor County High School, received an NFC Presidential Scholarship ($750 per term; 4 terms).
- Sophia Celedon, a senior at Lafayette High School, received a $1,000 John Loughridge Endowment Scholarship.
- CaliAnn Daniel, a senior at Suwannee High School, received an NFC Presidential Scholarship ($750 per term; 4 terms).
- Jenna Davis, a senior at Taylor County High School, received a $2,000 Taylor County Education Foundation Scholarship.
- Jerry Easler, a senior at Hamilton Virtual School, received an NFC Presidential Scholarship ($750 per term; 4 terms).
- Cole English, a senior at Taylor County High School, received an NFC Presidential Scholarship ($750 per term; 4 terms).
- Hannah Evans, a senior at James Madison Preparatory High School and Taylor County resident, received a $250 Academic Improvement Trust Fund Scholarship.
- Zachary Garrett, a graduate of RIVEROAK Technical College in Suwannee County, received an NFC Presidential Scholarship ($750 per term; 4 terms).
- Tiany Green, a senior at Hamilton County High School, received a full two-year Hamilton County Career and Workforce Scholarship to NFC.
- Samantha Harris, a senior at Branford High School, received a $1,000 Academic Improvement Trust Fund Scholarship.
- Cayli Hamlin, a senior at Taylor County High School, received a $2,000 Taylor County Education Foundation Scholarship.
- Gabriel Hancock, a senior at Lafayette High School, received a $1,200 Lafayette Scholars Endowment Scholarship.
- Hunter Harvey, a senior at Taylor County High School, received a $2,000 Taylor County Education Foundation Scholarship.
- Kamia Henderson, a senior at James Madison Preparatory High School, received a $1,000 Madison County Rotary Club scholarship, a $500 Turner Davis Scholarship, and a $700 Tri-County Electric Scholarship.
- Gracie Herndon, a senior at Corinth Christian Academy in Hamilton County and Echols County resident, received a $500 Academic Improvement Trust Fund Scholarship.
- Emmaleigh Herrington, a senior at Suwannee High School, received a $500 Academic Improvement Trust Fund Scholarship and an NFC Presidential Scholarship ($750 per term; 4 terms).
- Jared Hill, a senior at Branford High School, received a $1,000 Academic Improvement Trust Fund Scholarship.
- Hayden Hingson, a senior at Lafayette High School, received a $1,000 John Loughridge Endowment Scholarship.
- Sydney Holder, a senior at Branford High School, received an NFC Presidential Scholarship ($750 per term; 4 terms).
- Ja’Kovie Island, a senior at Taylor County High School, received a $2,000 Taylor County Education Foundation Scholarship.
- Destiney Jackson,a senior at Lighthouse Christian Academy in Lafayette County, received an NFC Presidential Scholarship ($750 per term; 4 terms).
- Ty Kinner, a senior at Madison County High School, received an NFC Presidential Scholarship ($750 per term; 4 terms).
- Austin Locklear, a senior at Lafayette High School, received a $500 First Federal Scholarship. He also won a $500 NFC Virtual Open House Scholarship as part of a chance selection of students completing applications at NFC’s annual open house event in March.
- Lindsey Martin, of Westwood Christian School in Suwannee County, received a $1,000 Academic Improvement Trust Fund Scholarship.
- Riley Massey, a senior at Lafayette High School, received a $1,000 Lafayette Scholars Endowment Scholarship.
- Hailee McGuire, a senior at Big Bend Technical College in Taylor County, received an NFC Presidential Scholarship ($750 per term; 4 terms).
- Makhia Miller, a senior at Corey Maurice Jackson Academy in Hamilton County, received a $1,000 Academic Improvement Trust Fund Scholarship.
- Emily Ann Minor, a senior at Madison County High School, received a $500 Madison Kiwanis Club Scholarship.
- Justin Padgett, a senior at Point of Grace Christian in Taylor County, received a full two-year Taylor County Operation Outreach Scholarship.
- Caitlin Paulk, a senior at Rose Academy and resident of Jefferson County, received a $450 General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC) of Monticello Scholarship and a $500 Jefferson County Kiwanis Club Endowment Scholarship.
- Tyler Platt, a senior at James Madison Preparatory High School, received an NFC Presidential Scholarship ($750 per term; 4 terms).
- Jackson Powers, a senior at Lafayette High School, received an NFC Presidential Scholarship ($750 per term; 4 terms).
- Kaylynn Priest, a senior at Columbia County High School, received a $1,000 Academic Improvement Trust Fund Scholarship.
- Ricki Sauls, a senior at James Madison Preparatory High School and resident of Taylor County, received a $250 Academic Improvement Trust Fund Scholarship.
- Blake Selph, a senior at Hamilton County High School, received a $500 Nutrien Scholarship, a $500 W.L. & Neta Carter Foundation Endowment Scholarship and a $500 Caroline Mary Moffses Memorial Scholarship.
- Ariel Simmons, a senior at Suwannee High School, received a $250.00 First Federal Scholarship and an NFC Presidential Scholarship ($750 per term; 4 terms).
- Amandia Smith, a senior at Lafayette High School, received an NFC Presidential Scholarship ($750 per term; 4 terms).
- Ryan Thompson, a senior at Taylor County High School, received a $1,000 Lorenzo & Mary Lou Whitfield Scholarship, a $700 Tri-County Electric Scholarship, and a $2,000 Taylor County Education Foundation Scholarship.
- Alexis Useche, a senior at Branford High School, received a $1,000 Academic Improvement Trust Fund Scholarship.
- McKenzie Vaughn, a senior at Lafayette High School, received a $1,100 Lafayette Penny Foundation Scholarship.
- Makayla Walker, a senior at Aucilla Christian Academy in Jefferson County and resident of Taylor County, received a $1,000 Mildred Bruner Scholarship and a $700 Tri-County Electric Scholarship.
- Joshua Welch, a senior at Hamilton County High School, received an NFC Presidential Book Scholarship ($500 per term; 4 terms).
- Shaniyah Williams, a senior at Suwannee High School, won a $500 NFC Virtual Open House Scholarship as part of a chance selection of students completing applications at NFC’s annual open house event in March.
