January 2022 - Lauren Fout
Why did you choose to dual enroll at NFC? I have friends and family members that inspired me to dual enroll at North Florida College. I also had a lot of opportunities to speak with the NFC staff members, so they too inspired me to attend this college.
Which class have you enjoyed the most at NFC? So far, I've enjoyed Mrs. Summer's SLS class. It was my first ever class at the college level and really helped me with getting started as a college student. She also gave a great impression of how NFC is and was very patient with her high school freshman students.
How is NFC helping you reach your goals? NFC is giving me the opportunity to receive an AA degree when I graduate. From here, I'll be able to transfer to a university to achieve even higher education and have the ability to work at a job I would love.
What are your educational plans after high school? In hopes of getting my AA degree when I graduate, I'm hoping to be able to attend a university. However, I'm not sure what my future holds just yet.
Who at NFC has inspired you? Mrs. Windy Gamble gave great information at a college fair that took place at my high school a couple years back; however, I have known her for years prior to this occurrence. Knowing that she was a staff member for NFC has really inspired me to give this college a chance and I love it here!
Why would you recommend attending NFC? NFC is a great college to attend for people who are in search for their early degrees. They have good opportunities and awesome classes to attend. Their teachers are super supportive and very patient with their students.
