MADISON, FL (October 21, 2021) - The North Florida College Office of Dual Enrollment is now featuring a Student of the Month to bring attention to the outstanding students in our district that dual enroll in College courses during their high school years.

Taylor County High School student Dimitri Williams is the NFC Office of Dual Enrollment's Student of the Month for October. He is currently working toward an Associate in Arts (AA) degree at NFC.

"After I graduate, I plan to pursue a bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or chemical engineering at the University of Florida followed by a PhD in anesthetics at the University of Michigan," said Williams. "NFC is giving me the exposure and credits necessary to adequately prepare myself for my future medical studies."

"NFC’s dual enrollment program appealed to me because of its accessibility to high quality teachers and course materials," said Williams. "NFC offers a great opportunity to experience collegial learning without the burden of high tuition and safety concerns. It's a safe and positive environment that rivals some of the top universities in the state."
