Florida First Responders Scholarship

The 2024-2025 Florida First Responders Scholarship is created to assist in the recruitment of law enforcement officers, emergency medical technicians and paramedics within the state by providing financial assistance to trainees who enroll in an approved training program.

  • If eligible, you may receive tuition funding for the following programs:
    • Law Enforcement Academy
    • Emergency Medical Technician
    • Paramedic
  • Eligibility Requirements:
    • You have applied to NFC and intend to register in an eligible program
    • Not be sponsored by an employer that is already covering the cost of the training program
    • You are aware the Florida First Responders Scholarship funds are applied after federal, state grants, or third-party payments, to cover the maximum award equal to the amount needed to cover 100% of tuition and fees, exam costs, books, and supplies, subject to availability of funding.
    • The Florida First Responders Scholarship funds are first come first serve

  • Apply for admission to NFC
  • Register/Plan to Register in an eligible program
  • Complete the 2024-2025 Florida First Responders Scholarship Application.
