Dual Enrolled Student Spotlight of the Month – Erin Burnett

 

MADISON, FLNorth Florida College offers a Dual Enrollment program that allows students to earn college credits while still in high school and at no cost. The NFC Office of Dual Enrollment is proud to feature outstanding Sentinels who are nominated by their respective high school guidance counselors. For February, NFC spotlights Erin Burnett from James Madison Preparatory High School. She took a moment in between her high school and NFC commitments to respond to our interview:

Why did you choose to dual enroll at NFC?

To get ahead in college. 

Which class have you enjoyed the most at NFC?

Anatomy 2.

How is NFC helping you reach your goals?

By allowing me to get my prerequisites before entering college.

What are your goals after high school?

Transfer to the University of Florida and major in pre-med.

Who at NFC has inspired you the most? 
My anatomy teacher. He keeps things interesting.
