POLICY:

North Florida College values the freedoms of speech, thought, expression, and assembly as essential to its educational and intellectual mission. The College is committed to fostering a learning and working environment that supports these freedoms and encourages the open exchange of ideas, while maintaining the integrity of the academic environment and the safety of students, employees, visitors, and college property.

The College reserves the right to establish and enforce reasonable, viewpoint-neutral restrictions on the time, place, and manner of expressive activities in outdoor common areas to support these goals. The content of expressive activities will not be considered when regulating speech in outdoor areas, except as permitted by law.

The President shall establish procedures to implement this policy, including matters related to public speaking and expression in outdoor areas, counter-protests, and commercial activity.

The President or designee reserves the right to cancel events, activities, or tabling requests that do not comply with established procedures. Such cancellation does not preclude the requestor from submitting future requests for approval.

This policy is implemented in accordance with applicable law.

  • PURPOSE: Preproposal Meeting and Worksite Tour for RFP-NFC-02-2026 for Custodial Services

This meeting is to provide an overview of the solicitation process for the procurement of custodial services for the NFC Madison Campus.  A tour of the College custodial worksites will commence immediately upon adjournment of the meeting. Interested respondents are strongly encouraged to attend this meeting.

This meeting is to open the sealed responses to the RFP solicitation which were received by the deadline for submission and a list of the respondents will be prepared. This is not a proposal evaluation meeting. (The deadline for submission of sealed responses was by 2:00 PM EDT, June 2, 2026, to NFC, Building  3, Room 19, 325 NW Turner Davis Dr, Madison, FL 320340.)

At this meeting, a committee will evaluate and rank proposals for provision of custodial services to the College based on the solicitation evaluation rubric.  Award of this RFP for a custodial services contract to a single respondent will be brought before the District Board of Trustees for action at their regularly scheduled June meeting.

To Whom It May Concern:

The North Florida College District Board of Trustees will act upon the following proposed course fees for Academic Year 2025-26 at its next regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 5:30 pm, NFC Student Center, 325 NW Turner Davis Drive, Madison, FL 32340.
 
 
Any person requesting to address the above recommended course fees will be provided with an opportunity to do so by appearing before the NFC Board of Trustees at the June 17 meeting. Copies of the recommended course fees and supporting documentation are available for review in the Office of the Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs located in Building 3.
