MADISON, FL – North Florida College’s Spring 2025 Grad Fest brought excitement, pride, and heartfelt celebration to campus on May 1 at 3 p.m., starting at the Van H. Priest Auditorium. Graduates, cheered on by family, friends, faculty, and staff, made their way in a proud Grad Walk to the Marshall W. Hamilton Library, where the celebration continued with Sentinel style.
From festive giveaways to meaningful celebration, this year’s event gave students
a moment to reflect on their journey and feel the support of their college and community.
That feeling was made possible in large part thanks to local sponsors, including Platinum-level
supporters Madison County Community Bank and J + J Strong, who each contributed $1,000
or more to make the event extra special.
Grad Fest is one of the most significant and resource-intensive student celebrations
that NFC hosts each year. Sponsorship contributions directly support key elements
of the event, including catering, the signature 'NFC' balloon and light display, personalized
yard signs for each graduate, and more. Without this generous support, sustaining
the quality and scale of Grad Fest would present a financial challenge for the NFC
Foundation.
“Our graduates felt celebrated, seen, and appreciated and that’s exactly what we want
this event to be about,” said Traci McClung, NFC’s Director of Resource Development.
“We are so thankful to our sponsors for helping us give students this well-deserved
moment of joy and recognition.”
NFC also extends its sincere thanks to additional Grad Fest supporters: Busy Bee,
Capital City Bank, First Federal Bank, and Tri-County Electric. These sponsors helped
create a warm and welcoming environment that truly reflects the heart of NFC and its
surrounding communities.
