MADISON, FL — North Florida College honored graduates of its Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
program during the Spring 2026 BSN Pinning Ceremony, celebrating registered nurses
who advanced their education and expanded their professional credentials through NFC’s
RN-to-BSN pathway.
The ceremony recognized graduates for their dedication to patient care, leadership
and continued academic achievement while balancing demanding careers and personal
responsibilities. Family members, friends, faculty and healthcare professionals gathered
to celebrate the milestone and recognize the impact these nurses will continue to
make throughout their communities.
North Florida College’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is designed for Registered
Nurses who have completed an Associate Degree in Nursing and wish to further their
education through a flexible, fully online format. The program prepares nurses for
expanded opportunities in leadership, management, community health and advanced clinical
practice while emphasizing evidence-based care and critical thinking.
“We are proud of the commitment our nursing graduates have demonstrated in expanding
their clinical expertise and strengthening the level of care they provide to the communities
they serve,” said Dr. Anna Kelley, Director of Nursing and Allied Health at North
Florida College. “The baccalaureate degree in nursing prepares graduates to assume
leadership and management positions within today’s healthcare system and provides
the foundation necessary to continue their education toward advanced nursing practice
or nursing education. These graduates reflect the professionalism, compassion, and
excellence that define the nursing profession, and we are honored to celebrate this
important milestone in their professional nursing career.”
Several graduates were recognized with special honors during the ceremony for excellence
in academics, leadership and service. Carol Hart of Valdosta, Georgia, received the
Outstanding Student Award in recognition of exceptional academic performance and dedication
throughout the program. Hunter Harvey of Perry, Florida, received the Leadership &
