MADISON, FL – North Florida College celebrated the achievements of its 2026 Practical Nursing and LPN to RN Bridge graduates during a joint Pinning Ceremony held Tuesday, Aug. 4, at 5 p.m. in the Van H. Priest Auditorium on the NFC campus.
The ceremony marked an important milestone for graduates of both nursing programs as they prepare for the next step in their healthcare careers. Practical Nursing graduates completed the rigorous training necessary to pursue licensure as licensed practical nurses, while LPN to RN Bridge graduates built upon their previous nursing education and professional experience to complete the Associate Degree in Nursing program and pursue licensure as registered nurses.
The traditional nursing pin symbolizes graduates' dedication to compassionate, skilled patient care and their commitment to service within the nursing profession.
"Today we celebrate an incredible group of graduates who have demonstrated determination, resilience and a commitment to excellence throughout their nursing education," said NFC Director of Nursing and Allied Health Dr. Anna Kelley. "Whether beginning their careers as practical nurses or advancing from LPN to registered nurse, each of these graduates has reached an important milestone. We are proud of their accomplishments and look forward to the impact they will make in the lives of their patients and communities."
Special recognition was given to graduates from both programs for outstanding academic achievement, leadership, growth and excellence throughout their nursing education.
